PlayStation Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida is very active on Twitter and, while it's a good way to keep in touch with fans, it does provide an easy avenue through which people can direct their hate.
"It's a tough job but it's a fun job as well," Yoshida told Kinda Funny Games on YouTube, as transcribed by GameSpot. "It's been great to be able to talk directly to people. And we get an immediate response... from people, whatever we announce.
Yoshida normally gets "mostly positive responses on Twitter, however, following the PlayStation Experience the amount of negative responses has increased.
"To be honest, the last couple of days were tough because I can see some pain from the people who are expecting some announcement that didn't happen," said Yoshida. "These people feel ignored."
Yoshida hopes that he can make the internet a better place. He notes than when he talks directly with the negative people on Twitter they tend to change their tones.
