The mechanics of the game are similar as in previous installments of the series and they concentrate on exploration and conversations with non-playable characters.In difference to classic adventure games, The Walking Dead: Season Three lacks typical puzzles and the focus is on making various moral choices which are the main factor that shapes the story of the game. A new feature in the game is a special system that allows moving saved games between various platforms.
