Sony has had their E3 conference. And let me tell you, they KILLED Microsoft. According to Sony America CEO, the PS4 supports used games, does not need to be connected, will not check in every 24 hours, and will be a reasonable price. Unfortunately, you will need to subscribe to PS+ in order to play online; the price is set to be below 5 dollars a month (this is similar to Xbox Live). Earlier, Microsoft had their conference; the Xbox One will support used games, however they let the developers choose whether or not it's allowed, Xbox One is always online and checks in frequently (every 24 hours), accounts will cease to work if the check in failed, monthly membership price increased, and the machine costs $500.
Overall, Sony has stolen the show. Their presentation was absolutely stellar and their games are incredible. Oh, and if you dont want to buy the PS4 on release day for fear of lack of games, don't worry, Sony currently has a total of 140 GAMES in development for the PS4 as of now!!! 100 of these are scheduled to be released within the first year! That's planning!

A smart move: let both these giants focus their attention on each other and do their own damage. And from the way things look, Sony came out as the clear winner with both games AND hardware. Microsoft just basically shot themselves in the foot with the "always on" crapola and the confusion over playing used games. With one less company to worry about, now Nintendo can focus their attention on Sony.
Sony definitely took some jabs at MS when Jack was saying there was no DRM and PS4 will support used games. I especially like the used games sharing video with Shuhei Yoshida and that third party relations guy. I think that, no region locking and the $399 price point certainly will make things difficult for MS and the Xbox One.
