It seems that the questions raised at the end of Persona 4 Arena's story will be answered soon, because it's getting a sequel.
Developer Arc System Works is officially working on a follow-up to their fighting game and began a location test for it at the Hey Arcade in Akihabara and the Taito Station Nihombashi in Osaka. The test will continue to run from 16-18th August, between 10 am and midnight.
So far, we know that Yukari Takeba and Junpei Iori from Persona 3 have been added to the roster and that everyone from the original game will return. Furthermore, new Shadow characters have been added to the game.
Apparently, players will be able to choose Normal type characters, who can use "Bursts" and "One More Bursts" to escape enemy rushes and strengthen their combos. The Shadow type characters, on the other hand, lack the ability to Burst but instead have an ability called "Shadow Rampage", which grants an unlimited use of SP skills and Skill Boosts for a set period of time. All characters except Elizabeth and Shadow Labrys will have a Shadow counterpart.
