Just in time for Halloween, Sony and Media Molecule have announced that The Nightmare Before Christmas costumes and level-creation tools will be coming to LittleBigPlanet.
The Nightmare Before Chrismtas Level Kit includes various Halloween/Christmas themed objects, stickers, songs, and backgrounds, and will be available for LittleBigPlanet 2. The costume pack, however, will feature Cross-Buy compatability across LittleBigPlanet 2, LittleBigPlanet Karting, and LittleBigPlanet PSVita.
This DLC joins the plethora of similarly-themed Disney DLC for the franchise, including Toy Story, The Incredibles, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Marvel superheroes.
Given their similar design aesthetics, it's surprising that Nightmare Before Christmas hasn't been incorporated into the LittleBigPlanet franchise earlier. Still, it's nice to see Media Molecule continue to support their franchise, even over two and a half years since the release of LittleBigPlanet 2.
