Nintendo continues to celebrate the Year of Luigi with the announcement of a new title, Dr. Luigi. This title will be released onto the Wii U eShop on December 31 in the States, and January 15, 2014 in Europe.
Dr. Luigi will cost $14.99, and plays similar to Dr. Mario, except Luigi has now earned his PhD and will be the one dropping the capsules onto the various viruses and bugs. Several gameplay modes are available including online play, a new virus buster, and classic mode.
To commemorate the Year of Luigi Nintendo will also release a Luigi statue for Club Nintendo users.
