The North American release dates of Rayman Legends for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One have been moved up one week, to February 18th, Ubisoft announced today. The European release dates for the critically-acclaimed platformer have also been moved up, to February 20th.
Ubisoft also detailed new additions to the PS4 and Xbox One versions not available on other platforms. They include Far Cry, Assassin's Creed, and Splinter Cell themed playable characters, "sharper visuals" and the removal of loading times.
"Jumping in and out of a level has never been faster and it's a great feeling to have such a seamless experience. Navigating in the game now feels smoother and your gaming experience is never stopped by loading transitions," said lead designer Emile Morel.
The PlayStation 4 version will include a camera mode that allows players to take pictures of themselves and send those pictures to friendship. It will also allow players to scratch off in-game scratch off tickets using the DualShock 4's touchpad.
The Xbox One version will include ten achievements that can be earned by completing a set of challenges in a finite amount of time.
