It seems Sony has sent out a mass invitation to the worlds gaming press asking them to attend a briefing meeting.
'Following the biggest launch in Playstation history, join us for an introduction to the slimmest'.
This coming Thursday (30th January) it's looking very likely that the Playstation Vita Slim will be officially announced for release in Europe and North America. The slim itself is already available in Japan and is around 20% thinner and 15% lighter while also doing away with the OLED screen in favour of the less battery consuming 5-inch LCD display, as well as a variety of different colours.
But with the handheld already out there in the open, is a briefing meeting really all that necessary rather than just a simple company announcement that the slim will be available outside of Japan soon? Or is something else going to be shown along side it? Surely there isn't a PS4 slim already? Highly doubtful, but I do believe that the Vita is not the only bit of tech that will be in attendance.
What do you think?
