Nintendo has revealed a new Wii U version of Mario vs. Donkey Kong, but before you get too excited Nintendo says this is just a tech demo... for now.
Speaking with Siliconera, Nintendo said that the game was developed to show off the Nintendo Web Framework, a new dev tool that supports HTML5, JavaScript and CSS in a bid to make it easier to develop for Nintendo platforms.
Even though it's not an official game yet, that doesn't mean things won't change in the future. New Super Mario Bros. Mii was originally a tech demo for Wii U before Nintendo decided to release it as a full game. It's very possible, and more than likely, that Nintendo will do the same with this version of Mario vs. Donkey Kong.
