A Russian gaming website recently published an article claiming that the PlayStation 4 version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt would run at 900p/30FPS, while the Xbox One version would run at 720p/30FPS.
Gamespot contacted CD Projeckt Red, the developers of The Witcher 3, enquiring about the resolution and framerate of the title on both the PS4 and Xnox One. Michael Platkow-Gilewski, CD Projekt Red's PR and Marketing representative stated, "It's just a rumor and we are not commenting on rumours. As soon as we will be ready to announce Spec, we will let you know."
CD Projekt Red CEO Marcin Iwinski has already stated that The Witcher 3 is very close to maxing out the power of the PS4 and Xbox One. The game was initially set to launch sometime this year but was delayed for increased development time and polish.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is releasing on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in February 2015.
