A PlayStation Blog post by Teddy Lee, game designer at Cellar Door Games, has announced that PC hit Rogue Legacy will be releasing on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita - all in one package.
Rogue Legacy originally launched in June 2013. Lee provided a brief synopsis for newcomers in the post:
"It’s a rogue-lite game where you must conquer a magical castle which is constantly changing. Every time you die, your children succeed you. Each child has his or her own unique genetic traits, so one child might be a near sighted wizard, and another could be a flatulent ninja. So every play through is unique, right from the get-go.
As an added bonus, all the money you earn is passed down to your children, giving each generation a leg up on the last. And you’ll need every edge you can get, because this game is hard!"
The game will be Cross-Buy supported. If you buy it on your PS4 or PS3, you can download it to your Vita to play on the go, or vice versa. This means Cross-Save will be included as well. The price has not yet been revealed.
And for all you trophy hunters out there, Rogue Legacy will include three platinum trophies: "The trophies are similar across platforms. But I don’t think they all pull from the same trophy list… So… Buy 1 get 3 platinums!"
