Robin Williams

The famous and globally revered actor, Robin Williams, has passed away at the age of 63. He was found dead in his home from a suspected suicide.

Many people have felt the emotional impact of this loss (especially me) as he was a part of many of our childhoods and made us laugh. His work was incredible and he was beyond unique. I was hit hard when they announced his death on the news. I felt something inside of me... just... break. Williams was a huge inspiration for me and made my childhood fun with his movies and acting.

Fans of the legend have already taken to the internet to make this amazing man immortalized in various ways. Already a petition was created to make Mr. Williams immortalized in World Of Warcraft. Robin Williams said himself that he was a incredible fan of WoW and took his character seriously. Just as quickly as it was put up, Activision Blizzard agreed and are creating the Williams NPC for the game.

The one thing that many gamers loved was his role in the Ocarina of Time 3DS commercial where he narrated scenes along side his daughter Zelda (named after the princess). A petition was recently made to have him immortalized in the upcoming Legend Of Zelda Wii U game as a shop keeper. Many fans said that if he is to be put in the game, he should greet Link with "Hellooooooooo", a famous line from one of his movies (and maybe his most adored) Mrs. Doubtfire.
