Nintendo have confirmed that they will soon be offering customers the ability to pre-download titles that they've bought through the Nintendo E-shop or through select third party sites such as Rakuten Book and Yodobashi.com (expect Amazon to be added to this list of online retailers soon).
The first title to offer this functionality will be Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Satoru Iwata confirmed to investors.
The feature will also be making its way to the 3DS in 2015.
