In a shocking but ironic case of life imitating art, a midnight launch queue at a GameStop store in Texas was robbed by a group of armed thieves.
Gamers who were queuing up for the launch of Grand Theft Auto V on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at the store were targetted by a gang of three men armed with guns and tasers. They managed to get away with the cell phones and cash of those waiting in line, as well as the store's cash register.
One customer was attacked with a taser but everyone else was unharmed. The culprits have yet to be apprehended.
