A string of publishers have come out and confirmed that they won't be making any reveals at The Game Awards 2014 this Friday, including Microsoft Studios and Bethesda, but Electronic Arts' Peter Moore has performed a combo breaker and confirmed that he will be making a 'special announcement' for the company live on-stage in a recent Tweet.
Naturally there's no clue as to what the special announcement will be, so it could be a new game or it could just be new details for an already-announced title, although Geoff Keighley predicts that no one will guess it beforehand.
The Game Awards will showcase 18 'world premieres', including Metal Gear Online, King's Quest, Adr1ft, and No Man's Sky. It will take place in Las Vegas this Friday 5th December, at 6pm PST/9pm EST.
