Raspberyl is the childhood friend of Mao and one of the main protagonists in Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice. She is constantly challenging Mao to maintain the status of "badass" and save Almaz, even if it means venturing into Mao's heart. She is a true friend to Mao, despite their rivalry, and becomes the first alumni of the Evil Academy.
She's considered a delinquent by Netherworld standards, since she does good deeds and follows the rules, and is fueled by her desire to be unique compared to other demons. Despite her kind and compassionate nature, which is later revealed to be insincere, she is still very much a demon. Her two subordinates, Asuka Cranekick and Kyoko Needleworker, are very loyal and want to help her achieve her goals. Her dream for the future is to become the Legendary Delinquent.
She was introduced as a playable character in the PSP re-release of Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories, known as Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days, and Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten via DLC.
