Gig is the soul sealed within the Onyx Blade in Soul Nomad & the World Eaters. Before the events of Soul Nomad, the Master of Death, Vigilance, was tasked with guiding the souls of the dead to the afterlife. However, when he came for the soul of Lord Median's child, he was killed by the lord and sent to Drazil, where he was transformed into Gig.
Within 65 years, Gig and the three titans, known as World Eaters, appeared on the land of Prodesto and devastated the land before he was eventually defeated and sealed in the Onyx Blade. 200 years later, Revya found the Onyx Blade and was fuzed with the soul of Gig, allowing the use of his powers.
