Rauf was a combat instructor for the Assassin Order and a minor character in Assassin's Creed. Rauf was the first to greet Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad after his failure to gain the Templar treasure at Solomon's Temple and remained loyal to Altaïr when Al-Mualim betrayed the order.
Some time after Altaïr left to Mongolia, Rauf was murdered by Abbas Sofian's assassin.
