King Krichevskoy is a late Overlord of the Netherworld and Laharl's father, the main protagonist of Disgaea: Hour of Darkness. Krichevskoy died two years before the start of the game by sacrificing his life to seal Baal away and stop him from conquering the Netherworld. After his death, all of his vassals, except Etna, left the castle and the sleeping Laharl.
Krichevskoy, like Seraph Lamington, believes that every being has love in their hearts, a trait that is unusual for a Demon. Later on in the game, it is implied that Vyers is King Krichevskoy's reincarnation.
