Kiraha was Katene's father, the Laboratory Chief of the Ancient Faction at the Archia Think Tank and a follower of the Planet Regeneration Project in Ar tonelico Qoga: Knell of Ar Ciel. Due to Raphael becoming the chairman of the Archia Think Tank, Kiraha and the rest of the Ancient Faction moved their research to the Moebius Factory.
In order to stop the Human Evolution Project, Kiraha planned to steal Saki from the Archia Think Tank with support from the project coordinator, Elthia. Leaving Saki with Elthia's friend, Lona, Kiraha went into hiding. When Saki turned 15, her surrogate mother died and she unwittingly used her Miracles, causing the Archia Think Tank to identify her location. It was then that Kiraha came to take Saki away and arrived in Paper Scissors, mortally injured.
