Mute is a 3rd Generation Reyvateil and the daughter of the scientist Laude in Ar tonelico Qoga: Knell of Ar Ciel. Tasked with capturing Saki by Akane, she may appear like an adult male, but she is actually a cute little girl.
As children, Katene and Mute's parents were researchers in the Archia Think Tank. Although on opposing research teams, their parents constantly discussed their opinions and ideas.
