Preston E. Downs is a world renowned hunter, tradesman and minor character in BioShock Infinite. Due to his renowned abilities, Zachary Hale Comstock hires him to hunt down the members of the Vox Populi, especially Daisy Fitzroy. During his hunt for Daisy and the Vox Populi he accidently maimes a young Sioux boy when he places multiple bear traps down in the hopes of obtaining one of the Vox's courier.
In an alternate universe Preston is hired to kill Booker, but stops when he realizes Booker speaks Sioux and can talk to the courier. After learning the Vox Populi's motives Preston's eyes are opened and takes over the resistance when Daisy is killed.
