When the Fiendish Five attacked Sly's house and killed his father, Panda King got the Otto Van Cooper section of the Thievius Raccoonus. He set up shop in the Kunlun Mountains of China and built a massive explosives factory. To get money, he used the threat of avalanche protection on villages and if they didn't take it, he would set off fireworks to bury the villages in snow. Practicing a special martial art called Flame Fu, which incorporated his fireworks, he fought with Sly Cooper and lost, with him ending up getting arrested and put in jail by Carmelita Fox.
