Marona is a Chroma, an adventurer for hire, with the power of Chartreuse, the ability to see and communicate with phantoms, and the main protagonist in Phantom Brave. She lives on Phantom Isle in the oceanic world of Ivoire, where she is despised for this power.
While on an assignment, her parents and a young man named Ash were mortally wounded on the Isle of Evil. Using the last of his life energy, Marona's father brought Ash back as a phantom to watch over Marona.
