There was that one DLC that was supposed to come out for SR3 that was cancelled, and I remember them saying that they were going to use it as content for a new game that would release in 2013.

That's what I was thinking. This is just more than five months away. That means it's going gold in a couple of months. It'll be interesting to see how it does because they didn't leave themselves a lot of time for marketing.
