After meeting with a member of his father's former gang, Sly learns of the Cooper Vault, where all of the treasures that the Cooper family have stolen over the years is being held. When they arrive at Kaine Island, where the vault is, they find it is heavily fortified. As Sly goes approaches the vault, he is attacked and restrained by Doctor M. As he is in the clutches of Dr. M, he thinks back to how he got this far.
