Attack tip
Get into a machine Gun Warthog and drive to a rock on the right hand side of the base with the big dark hill in the corner and park it backwards on it and get into the gun and jump off and try to get into the rock this will allow you to shoot people but not be seem or shot back
Defeating Marines
Marines are armed with a variety of weapons both Covenant and Human They are lightly armoured In the event that you anger them and they turn on you Marines can be killed with explosives automatic weapons and melee attacks Crew members can be killed by anything

How to use online
1 Make sure you have Halo CE windowed To window it make a shortcut and put it on the desktop Click Properties and where it says Target put this at the end windowed
2 Open up devmode and make sure it it OFF
3 Join an online game
4 Press ALTTAB to run the game window in the background Turn Devmode ON and then return to the game
5 Devmode should now work online Just do this before each online game If you do not you will not be able to use it ONLINE
6 To use Devmode during gameplay press then enter the following codes You MAY have to type devmode afterward
PLEASE NOTE IF YOU ACTIVATE SOME CODES THEY WILL WORK ON YOUR OPPONENTS AND TEAM MATES
Double jump
After you jump do a crouch You will stay in the air longer and go slightly higher This is useful for reaching ledges that you can just barely reach with a normal jump
Easy Banshee kill
Wait until a Banshee is directly above you then shoot it in the belly with your shotgun On the easy difficulty setting it will explode with one shot Moving forward when you do this can keep the wreckage from falling on you
Effective pistol use
The best weapon in the game is the Human Pistol Three hit kills and unlimited range make this the most overpowered weapon in the game In any map if someone runs at you with a shotgun shooting wildly take out your pistol and shoot them The most important factor with this gun it to squeeze off every round with a different pull of the trigger Do not hold the trigger for full auto press the button individually for each shot When you do this the accuracy will be improved
Extra ammunition
If you shoot your fellow Marines you can pick up their ammunition Make sure to only kill a straggler unless you are prepared to take on all of the Marines They will turn on you if you kill more than one of them
Flare
Have at least two plasma grenades when your partner cannot find you Throw one in any direction and without moving as quickly as possible throw a second one The first one will explode sending the second one flying into the air The grenade will explode at a very high point acting as a flare so your partner can see where you are located Note Make sure that you do not move in any direction while doing this or the second grenade will not go into the air only sideways if anywhere
Flying bodies
Go to multiplayer split screen mode and play a game with unlimited grenades with two or more players Kill one of the players then get everyone else to stand in quotaccuratequot grenade throwing range Have each player throw two grenades on the corpse this must be timed very accurately Throw them on the hands knees or anywhere else then step away and watch the body fly
Flying high
Select multiplayer split screen mode and create a game that has unlimited grenades and only rocket launchers When you start go to an outside level and look down as far as you can Next run backwards and throw a plasma grenade It should stick on your foot Then shoot the rocket launcher as fast as you can If done correctly you will fly up with the plasma grenade exploding while in midair sending you flying higher
Fun with Hunters
If you are a skilled player you can kill a Grunt and lure a Hunter over to it Wait until he melees and move out of the way The hunter will hit the Grunt and it will fly farther than if you hit it with a rocket launcher For a harder challenge but farther distance try getting it to hit a live Grunt
Getting on Top of Sidewinder
First of all create a new multiplayer game in which your shields and life are the maximum they can reach After creating this go into the game and also go into the level Sidewinder When you are in the level get a rocket launcher and plasma grenade and travel to the Blue Tower Base Go to the top of this base and then go through the teleporter When on the other side keep walking until you are around the bend When you get to the end of the bend there should be another room with a teleporter in it and from the outside there is a border to the room in which you can jump on looking at the room from the outside It may take a few tries but you will get up there you can also take a vehicle up there with you for easy access to the top of the border Once you make it up onto the border go to the end of it and looking down slowly walk backwards and get a grenade caught on your foot As soon as you get the grenade on your foot shoot the rocket launcher down at your feet The lift should send you flying pretty high When you first start flying through the air push both joysticks in the dirrection of the wall that you are attemting to get upon This may take many tries although it is very frustrating once you get the hang of it it can be much fun
Grenade rain
Play a multiplayer game with infinite grenades Move forward look up and turn while throwing grenades If an enemy is approaching rotate in different directions frantically and look up and down Grenades will go everywhere but on you and amateur players will be surprised and possibly killed Experts however will probably get close enough to kill you unless you get a lucky hit In any case if the plan is not fully effective pick off stragglers with a secret grenade using the quotDouble melee attackquot trick
Hidden Area
In the chapter where you must find Capt Keyes in the swamp there is a secret area you can access right from the beginning
When Foe Hammer says The Last transmission from the captains dropship was from this area That was over twelve hours ago immediately start pressing your grenade throw button whatever you do DONT MOVE After a few seconds the dropship will take back off and youll still be in it It flys for about 20 seconds then crashes Press X to exit the dropship
Now walk directly away from the ship until you reach a clearing Head towards the center and out of the fog youll see a lone Marine standing there He wont move or say anything unless you shoot him in the foot w your pistol Just so you know the name of this masterpiece is called The Siege of Madrigal and it can be found in Bungies earlier game Myth It was written by Marty ODonnell from Total Audio
Hidden Music
Near the end of the 5th level Assault on the Control Room snag a Banshee in the open area and head up to the Control Center There are three ledges that bracket the central pillar in front of the door you want the middle one You can land your Banshee parallel to the walkway facing the left with respect to the door and hop out the back Be careful if youre not perfectly straight youll hop out to your death Walk to the right end of the ledge and stand still You should hear this soft sorrowful music playing
How to get a banshee into a cutscene
COOP onlyOn the level assault on the control roomat the last open areawhen you come out onto a bridge and there are some grunts some elites and two banshees run really quickly to one of them while your parner kills the covent Get in and fly to the really big door that is the beginning of the last part of the mission Your partner can kill himself and respawn there for the sake of speedOpen the door and kill all the covenant untill you get to the last doorthe one before the final cutscene of that level While one person opens the door the other should fly at it with the banshee this takes timing get a save point before you try it and start from there again if you mess up If done correctly the banshee will be in the cutscene as it starts If you are really lucky then the banshee may run over MC during the cutscene
LVL 2 ROCK JUMPING
When youve destroyed the banshees go up th hill on top there are 2 rocks jump on the lowest one and u can bounce back an fourth beetween them
Plasma flare
note most effective in outside maps
the plasma flare makes a plasma nade go in the air and explode there all u have 2 do is aim somewhere and throw 2 plasma nades usualy the 1st will send teh 2nd up and will explode in air but u dont move the mouse once u have aimed works in all games but is more efective with other players
Scorpion tank ramp
When playing in multiplayer mode using either the Blood Gulch or Sidewinder map choose a game type that has all vehicles Park two Warthogs directly next to each other and drive a Scorpion tank up on top of them When the front of the Scorpion tank is facing up into the air shoot it with the other Scorpion tanks missile launcher The first Scorpion tank should flip over If not repeat the steps You can now drive the Ghosts off it and go flying If the Scorpion tank leans too far to one side you can adjust it by hitting the low side with your melee attack
Shield from most attacks
Find a flamethrower in any level and start spinning around while shooting it People will not be able to melee attack or shoot you with a shotgun because they would have to get close and be killed by the fire You also cannot get sniped because it is very difficult to see through the fire Note This only works in multiplayer mode
Shoot through wall
In multiplayer mode drive any Warthog close to a building so that the side of it is touching Get in the gunners turret and turn it towards the wall If done correctly and you are close enough you should be able to to shoot at an enemy through the wall and not receive damage from them if they shoot back
Streets Of Earth City Find Lifepod
There are two ways to find the Lifepod One is to fly around under the map until you find the place in one of the pillars Another is to use a teleporter on the side of one of the towers Note To use the teleporter you must use a Banshee and get out while directly in front of the teleporter
Super bombs
Choose any multiplayer level and make sure you have at least one plasma grenade one frag grenade and more that 100 health Choose a location where the plasma and frag grenades will not bounce all over Throw the plasma grenade and as soon and you pull the trigger press the Change Grenade and immediately throw the frag grenade If done correctly the two grenades will explode at the same time and place This is useful for making Ghosts and Warthogs fly far

There is a kill in the game known as Telefragged To do this easily play in multiplayer mode on the Battle Creek level Have player one go into the teleporter When they get to the other side move player one backwards until they are inside the teleporter Then have player two to go to the free teleporter and move into it Player ones screen will start to go white When the screen is completely white player one will die and player two will teleport on top of them At the top of player ones screen the message quotYou have been telefraggedquot will appear
The Easy way to kill an Elite
Ok to kill an Elite the easy you will need
Plasma Pistol
PistolAssualt Rifle
So first you charge up the plasma pistol and fire at the elite if it hits it will take out his shield Then switch to your pistol or assualt or whatever other gun you have and take out the rest of their helath
The grunt
At the end of the LevelThe Mawwhen u are driving ur way to get picked upu go thourgh the second tunnel and when u look to ur leftu should see dead bodies of floods and one gruntIf u go near himhe will say something funny
Three guns on the first level
Towards the beginning of the game there is a way to bypass the two weapon limit and carry three weapons at once On the first level make your way to the bridge After speaking with the captain quickly run out of the bridge before the chapter name disappears If you were fast enough the checkpoint at the door will not trigger Now run to the mess hall and get your Assault Rifle and another weapon Now run back to the bridge and trigger the checkpoint When you go back towards the mess hall the pistol will appear in your hands and you will be carrying three weapons instead of two Each gun reloads and exchanges normally Note This only lasts for the first level
Unlimited Camo Trick
Select the Assault on the Control Room level on any difficulty in CoOp mode Next skip to the part where there are two tanks and a banshee flying over you just before a cave Youll notice a cloak to the right of the tunnel next to some ammo Keep Player 1 by the cloak and have Player 2 beat the entire part just before you trigger the Rolling Thunder loading zone after the bridges Now have Player 1 actually go cloaked and at that point Player 2 should walk through and trigger the Rolling Thunder loading zone Player 1 will be spawned all the way down by Player 2 and for the rest of the level be cloaked without it ever wearing off The only way it will wear off is if Player 1 not 2 dies
Unlimited Rockets
Select the Assault on the Control Room level on any difficulty in CoOp mode Next skip to the Rolling Thunder loading zone after the bridges part Have Player 1 fire a rocket in any direction Now at the same exact time Player 1 should reload the rocket launcher and Player 2 should walk through the loading zone Player 1 will now have unlimited rockets until the end of the level This trick will wear if it Player 1 dies reloads or switches weapons
Use Flood as slaves
To make flood your slaves simply shoot their arms off They will follow you around and attack Covenant However they will not attack their own kind Also if the Flood you are shooting at has a gun only shoot off the arm without a gun This very useful when fighting large numbers of Covenant
Warthog fun
Go to any level or game in multiplayer mode that will allow you to have vehicles Have one player get in a Warthog and have the other do the same with another Run into each other with the Warthogs and you will go flying in the air doing flips
