The following are the different types of fears that Luigi will have to face in Dark Moon:
Regular Enemies
- Runoma - A green colored ghost that can change forms
- Ruburi - A red colored husky ghost
- Ruhaido - A blue colored ghost that can throw items at Luigi
- Runoma - A fat yellow color ghost
- Gold ghosts which are worth lots of gold coins if you can trap them
- Purple colored jelly like ghosts that can swallow Luigi
- Mummy ghosts
- Haunted armor suits that can attack Luigi with their swords if he passes close by them
- Various colored spiders
- Carnivorous plants
- Polterpups - Ghost dogs which can steal gold objects from Luigi
Mini - Bosses
- A purple colored ghost of a woman fond of gardening
- A ghost with telekinetic powers
Bosses
- King Boo is expected to return as the main boss
- A giant spider is also expected to be a boss encounter in the game
