Xenoblade Chronicles has a high number of Records, found under the Achievements menu in-game. These Records are for battles, and inter-party links, on the most part. As with the Trials, you get exp. for each Record completed, as well as a notification. The harder the Record to complete, or the later in-game you'll do it, the higher the exp. given.
