Medal of Honor: Warfighter - Shore Leave

When you land, start making your way in towards the coast line. When you start approaching the pier ahead, you're going to get hit pretty hard by a sniper round. Don't go under the pier because you won't be able to move very well. Instead, move up along the right side of the pier and take cover on the left side of the boat ahead. When you get a safe second, round the boat and make your way onto the shore.

There will be a wide crate that looks like it was made up of lobster traps. Go prone behind this for cover. Wait for a break in the fire and then start moving further up the shore towards the stairs just on the right side. Climb up the stairs and at the top, take cover behind the barrier. Head to the left and you should be able to take cover with a teammate behind some bushes.

From here, peak around to the right side and take out any of the enemies in front of the building. When you are clear, run into the building and up the stairs to the next floor. You'll find a door and your first real breach.

Breach!

Stack up on the door and you'll get ready to breach. Once inside, there are four targets. The first will be directly ahead of you, the second will be slightly to the left at about 10 o'clock. Target three will be coming out of the door at 2 o'clock and the last enemy is going to be directly behind the column you were looking at when you first came in. Kill the first two and walk slightly to the right to line up a better shot on number 3. Finally, continue forward and right so you can see the last man behind the column.

With all four enemies dead, enter the next room and you'll have to take down the sniper with the LTLM. Equip it by hitting left on the direction pad. Zoom using the left trigger and then hold the right trigger to get a lock for the artillery. Now just watch the show as the building gets destroyed.

Now that the sniper is out of the way, head down the nearby ramp. Follow your squad as you move through the wreckage. You will have your gun pointed down and you don't have to worry about fighting. Just follow them into the sniper building. Drop down to the lower level and it's time to bust out the bot.

Killer Bot

You'll take out the bot and control it yourself. The bot is equipped with a heavy machine gun that fires a burst of rounds at a time as well as a grenade launcher. Navigating can be a little bit tough as the bot can only go over certain types of terrain.

Enter the next room with the bot and clear out the enemies in here. You can only stay to the low areas so don't bother trying to climb up. Move along the room long ways and watch to the right side for an open area. Go to this open area and you should see a hallway that you can go through. As you get into the next room, some debris will fall down but continue through the room and make your way towards the light to find your friendly squad.

This will bring you outside behind the squad. Try and stay behind cover and take out as many enemies as you can but then roll out into the street to keep fighting. You'll eventually get hit by a rocket and be immobilized. Kill a few more enemies and you'll get smashed.

Boots

You'll be back in your own boots so make your way into the next room just as the bot did. Instead of going the low road, climb up to the next level where the enemies were when you last came into this room. Go through the doorway and into an empty room. There will be a door on the left wall and it's time for another breach.

Breach!

There are four enemies in this room. The first is going to be at 11 o'clock by an open window. To the left of him at about 10 o'clock will be another enemy trying to pick himself up off the floor but for now, skip him. Turn right and you'll find two enemies at about 1 and 2 o'clock. Take them out before returning to the man who was trying to get up. At this point, he should be roughly standing, providing you with a better shot at his head.

With the room cleared, a rocket will hit the room and open some cracks in the wall for you to fire to. Go to the right side of the room and you'll find a small crack that you can shoot through. Look across the street and start firing at the enemies there. You'll find a couple about your level shooting through windows but most of the enemies will be spawning toward the upper left near the large plume of smoke. You can see them dropping off the roof and into the building. If you can kill them as they are doing this, it'll save you a lot of trouble.

When it's safe, stock up on ammo and then head for the stairwell on the left. Drop down and you'll be able to see the street on your right. A truck will appear and there will be a white van that appears to provide decent cover. Try to avoid the van if at all possible because it seems to attract a lot of grenades and attention. Instead, stop at the van for a second and then continue past it to the buildings across the street.

From here, you can reach the people that were near your old position. Move up along the left side, taking out enemies in the buildings as you go.  Also watch for the technical in the middle of the road. When you've made it as far up as you can go on the left, turn right and you should have a good angle on the technical. Kill the people on it and then take it over for yourself.

Hop into the turret and then use it to take out the enemies at the far end of the street. You'll find a bunch of enemies in the buildings to the left and ahead of you. Be sure to watch in the windows for them. When you've cleared all of the enemies, Voodoo will tell you that everything is clear and lead you into one of the buildings. Keep following until you come to a long double set of stairs.

Climb up the stairs slowly because when you get to the top, you'll be attacked by a few enemies on the right side and a technical is going to pull up in front of you. Unfortunately, there's not a whole lot of good cover here so the best bet is to back down the stairs a little for cover. Throw grenades to try and take out the technical or wait for a squad mate to get its attention and shoot the gunner when he turns.

Regroup with your squad across the street to the right and stack up on the door for another breach.

Breach!

When you enter the room, you're going to have an enemy towards your left (about 9:30, 10 o'clock position). Take him out and take a couple steps to the right. Start sweeping to the right and you'll see an enemy near the broken wall in the middle and another just on the other side of that wall. At this point, the last enemy will drop into the room from above but since you took a couple steps to the right, he'll likely line up directly with one of the enemies behind him allowing for two quick kills. Kill whichever enemy is left over and you'll have cleared this room.

At the back you'll find a ramp leading upwards. Take this to the roof and then work your way around the roof and climb up a little further. You'll enter another room with a large hole in it. After you pull together a couple of tables, you're going to start a sniping section.

Oh, Snipe!

You'll see a few red arrows on your screen and these are your main targets. Always take these out first but don't be shy about killing other enemies, particularly if they are shooting at you. Use the red arrows as a point of reference. These arrows will give you the distance of how far away they are. This is important because you need to compensate for bullet drop. It's not an exact science but the tick marks on your scope go at about 100m to one full tick. If the target is at 200m and you put the large tick marked at 2 on their head and pull the trigger, you should hit them in the head. Again, this isn’t a perfect science and they are going to be moving so you'll have to just give it your best shot. Use the marked enemies as a point of reference to gauge the distance for the unmarked enemies.

Keep an eye on the enemies and take down the marked enemies as best you can. These are high priority because they are going to have rocket launchers and be shooting at aircraft. When you've killed all of the major targets, the mission will end.

I was pleasantly surprised by this game. The first 1/3 of the game flies by but it really picks up after that despite it's uneven polish.
