A free version titled Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate: Core Fighters was released digitally and features four playable characters and the online mode. Additional characters and Story Mode content was made available as purchasable downloadable content
An arcade version titled Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate: Arcade is also being developed in a co-operation with Sega for a release only in Japan.
