Mission Assault
A cooperative game mode for 2 to 5 players. One player controls the Gunship with the GamePad Controller. The dual analog controls move the ship around, and changes its elevation. Up to four players on the ground in Varia Suits with Wii Remote Plus Controllers. Ground players can fire shots from an arm cannon, fire missiles, as well as use the grappling beam.
Waves of enemies pour into the arena and must be taken out. Power up items that replenish health and offer power ups, like rapid fire, will appear in the arena over time.
Ground vs. Air
This mode plays like Mission Assault, except the players on the ground team up to play against the player controlling the Gunship. Players on the ground aim to shoot down the Gunship, while the Gunship assaults the players on the ground.
Free For All
A multiplayer mode for 2 or more players in which every player fends for themselves. Players assault enemies that appear on-screen as they race to collect tokens scattered throughout the arena.
