Season Challenge is a shorter version of the full career of F1 2012. The mode consists of 10 Grand Prix races. In each Grand Prix, you pick a rival who has a slightly better car than you.
if you are able to beat your rival in a best of three races, you are awarded your rivals car and you move on to the next rival.
This mode is great if you don't have the kind of time required to play the full F1 2012 season but still want to enjoy the thrills and excitement of the season.
In Seaon Challenge, Codemasters has also introduced "One Shot Qualifying" for Season Challenge where players have only one lap to qualify for the race which makes it an interesting and challenging mode.
