In Time Trial, you again have to beat a single lap time but the differecue between Time Attack and Time Trial is that in Tme Trial you don't have to play through a pre-defined scenario. Instead, yohasan choose your team and the track on which you want to beat the lap time.
Time Trial also gives you the option to either beat the lap time of the ghost car in the game or download the best lap times of racers from around the world and try to beat them.
