Need for Speed: Most Wanted features a completely open world from the beginning, allowing the players to explore anywhere they want. Events are given a start and finish line, but the route that players use is completely up to them.
There is also plenty of collectibles to be found in Fairhaven City, includng security gates, billboards, and even more. You can also find drive-through buildings, where players will be able to modify their cars. In addition, players will be able to drive any car they want, as long as they can find it around the city, which are called Jack Spots.
Pretty much every single thing you do will award you Speed Points, which are used to become the most wanted racer. Players compete with their friends with Speed Points to be #1 on the Speedwall. Although it is not clear, Speed Points may also play a factor in Blacklist, which returns in this game with ten rivals.
