December 2012 - Blue Isle Studios announced its partnership with the Marble Hornets team, a YouTube channel known for its horror videos which heavily featured Slenderman, and helped to shape the modern version of Slenderman. Joseph DeLage, Tim Sutton and Troy Wagner will write the script for the final version of the game.
December 2012 - Eight screenshots were released on the official Slender: The Arrival website, followed by four on the Blue Isle Studio website. A trailer was then released for the game in December (see below).
The Arrival website also says: "Our goal is to get the game in the hands of as many players as possible. We are very seriously considering developing Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and mobile versions of the game" .
