The game release date is set on October 22, 2013 in North America, December 12, 2013 in Japan and Q1 2014 in Europe, for the Nintendo 3DS. It is also set to be released sometime in 2014 for iOS.
Hometown Story takes you to a lush, green village tucked away in the countryside. The shop you inherited has brought you back to your hometown. However, the shop has become run down, and no one wants to even window shop there anymore. Can you turn the shop around and even expand it, or is it destined to stay in the red forever?

Gameplay
Hometown Story is a role-playing simulation game where you join a world full of joy and live the story of a unique character that you create. You will take over your grandmother's old shop and you must build it from ground up in order to start an efficient business.
Items
Since your main goal is to run the shop and improve it to become a success, there will plenty of items that you will come across when you're trying to sell them. You will be able to find items all around town, as well as when exploring the forest.
