The Walking Dead: Season Two is a graphic adventure, survival horror, and sequel to the critically acclaimed The Walking Dead, which itself is based on The Walking Dead comic book series.
Season Two puts players in control of the character Clementine as she attempts to survive the zombie apocalypse. Once again narrative and player choice will be key parts of the experience. Tellatale also have plans to carry over the decisions of players from the first season and the additional DLC 400 days into the second season.
Exploration
Like the first game, players can explore the surroundings in the game at all times to search for information, but the amount of area that can be explored is limited to the particular task the players is currently doing.

Interactions
Interacting with other characters and their surroundings is a major part of The Walking Dead. Many times the interactions with people can lead to a timed response trigger or Quick Time Event (QTE), leading to the player pressing a certain button or key to make a decision within the time frame.
Decision Making
Each episode contains significant decisions, where players have to choose one of two available decisions. The game records and tracks which decisions players select and allows them to compare their choices with other players. These decisions have a big impact on the story of the game, sometimes resulting in saving a NPC or the permanent death of a character.
Combat
Rather than focusing on combat the game focuses on storytelling and problem solving. Combat rarely is encountered and is usually done through QTEs, with failing usually resulting in death.
In the first Walking Dead, there was an episode that involved shooting in first-person view. Whether shooting will be involved in Season Two is currently unknown, but since Season One involved Lee teaching Clementine about shooting there is a high possibility that guns may be involved.
