- Players will be able to switch between Jacob and Evie freely, similar to games like Grand Theft Auto V
- Jacob is more of a brawler, utilizing a kukri, revolver and brass knuckles
- Evie is more of a stealthy character
- Combat is faster paced and will have multiple enemies attacking you at once
- The rope launcher is a new tool to use in the series, with players able to zipline between buildings and quickly scale them
- The traditional assassin gameplay is still in, with Jacob changing his outfit (donning a hood) during the Gameplay Walkthrough video
- Eagle Vision makes a return
- Players will see members of Jacob's gang being held captive by enemy gangs (green while in Eagle Vision); killing all enemies around them will rescue them
- Gang Warfare
- You will be able to use carriages to get around London, as well as hide in them
- There will be six boroughs in the game: Westminster, City of London, Lambeth, Southwark, Whitechapel, and the Strand
- The map will be 30% larger than the one in Unity
- No multiplayer
