Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is a first-person shooting game developed by Hidden Path Entertainment and Valve Corporation for Mac OS, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It is the fourth release in the Counter-Strike series and originally a port of Counter-Strike: Source to Xbox Live Arcade, though the idea was dropped and the project evolved into a new game for multiple platforms.
The game continues the franchise long tradition of being heavily multiplayer focused, with online being its most pushed aspect.
