The Infected are now fast-moving zombies. Infected keep most their muscle funtion while allows them to sprint at you and attack at high speeds. Now and again they deliver a flurry of blows with their fists, broken nails or sometimes a weapon.
The Infected are as dangerous as the Walkers, coming across one here and there, they are easy to take down. When you come across a group of them can be pretty dangerous, because they can attack with some speed this means they can suddenly take all your players health. Often seen in packs of two or three but go through the game more, you'll see groups of five or six!
You can tell when you come across The Infected as they are aggressive and sometimes you'll hear a high-pitched scream. They look more human, but their identity is still easy to come across as they are covered in wounds or bloodstains. When they let out a scream, this will mean they have spotted your character so get ready for combat!
