It is the thirteenth overall game in the Mario Party series and the first one for the 3DS. The game features popular characters from the series coming together to play on various board games, with the goal being to beat the other players to the end.

It plays much like the previous entries except the plot for this is that the sun and moon (Brighton and Twila) are fighting causing the time of day to go all out of whack. To stop this, Mario and crew decide to have a Mario Party with both of them as hosts. The main gimmick of this one is that every 3 turns the board changes from night to day. In addition, there are also new mic minigames, using the mic that it comes with.

Mario Golf: Advance Tour, is the third installment to the Mario Golf series, made by Camelot Software Planning and published by Nintendo. This game follows on from the third installment, Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour, but adds more of a roleplaying element to it, just like Mobile Golf.
