It's interesting because each entry in this series as very different despite being so similar in so many ways.
The original was a grand space Opera. Playing it left you with this mystified feeling. You loved going everywhere just to explore this wonderful galaxy.
Two cut WAY back on the exploration and started throwing stuff at you fast and hard. The story was gritty and even a little horrifying. However, if it was left strictly to this story and setting, two would have been very different and it easily had the best cast of crew mates. Garrus returned, you got to meet up with Wrex (if he was still alive) and a host of new characters including Mordin, Grunt, Legion, Thane and Jack were added. Add on top of that, Zaeed and Kasumi (who was part annoying and part fun) and you've got the best ensemble cast in the series and possibly the best outside of a Final Fantasy game.
Mass Effect 3 returned to the grandeur of the original except in a much more focused way. Rather than having a focus on exploration, discovery, and a feeling of distant myth, you're presented with the culmination of a legend. Before you start playing, you know what you are up against and I'm sure almost everybody is sitting there going "Ok, I understand what I have to do and even the tools at my disposal to do it but... how in the hell can one person do THAT?"
And then it hits you... You're Commander Shepherd. There is one more tool that you are forgetting. You're the biggest badass in the galaxy and the galaxy respects you because of it. And you set out to use all of your cunning, skill, and credibility to pull it off.
To me, Mass Effect 3 is essentially "What would happen if James Bond needed an army? Would his incredible breadth of skills, diplomacy and deadliness be enough to bring the entire world (including the Middle East and North Korea) under a single banner?"
And that's why it is my favorite. You are the only person to ever succeed in the countless attempts made cycle after cycle. How can you not feel like a badass? Though it just barely beats out ME1. -
Number two was my favourite :-D

Yeah, but like I said, that's just the character without anything else added. Characters won't look as detailed once you add in the game world and everything else. -
looks legit but yeah game play won't be that detailed. in comparison static9.cdn.ubi.com/resource/en-US/game/watchdogs/watchdogs/… a character from Watch Dogs.... Look at her hair and clothes! -
That's just the faces without anything else going on, though. I don't think anyone is expecting the games to look that good with everything else on the screen.
Of course, the first game might look great, but knowing Activision, they'll keep the same engine throughout all of next gen, like they did with the games this gen.

graphically next gen isn't going to be that big like this gen where they introduced HD gaming. But I'm already happy with graphics. I mean you don't have to make them photogenic for me.
The problem with this attitude is rising cost to develop the games. And this results in games that can't break even. And that's why so many studios are shut down or going to close.
ofcourse this isn't the only reason. Inefficiency is also one of them -
In that case, I wonder if next gen is actually going to be that much of a step beyond current games? Certainly the PS4 and Wii U comparisons that have been done so far show that PS4 isn't that much ahead graphically -
It will be just like Watch Dogs, current and next-gen, so I should not be too worried about it. If you can suffer the wait, buy it when the new consoles launches. I guess the experience will be improved ! -

Personally, I don't think they'll actually reveal that much, but we will see...

Yeah, I don't think they'll go too far into specifics like price or launch date yet, although they may reveal a release window. They'll mention some games, but will leave most of the details for E3.
They may also do something with the Vita, like a price cut, since one was just announced for Japan. -
I'm thinking it's going to be something along the lines of "Here it is!" and they'll reveal the look of the console. Then they'll reveal the controller (which will probably change before launch because they ALWAYS do). Then they'll say that so-and-so is working on their next installment of this storied franchise (without giving an actual title or number) for the console.
Then they exit.
