Will we see Uncharted 4 this year?

It was kinda surprising to see a May release date for The Last of Us - does that suggest they have a new Uncharted lined up for the holidays?

    It would be pretty impressive if they managed to come out with another Uncharted before the end of the PS3 life cycle. aside from the annuals, I think the only other franchise that will manage that is Gears. And even then, I'm still skeptical of this next one and Uncharted came out a year after Gears.

    I'm guess it will probably be released in May, which seems to be one of Rockstar's favorite months. If they announce a release date within the next month, they can start some advertising for the game immediately, although a game like this might not need it as much.

    Unfortunately, no. I think when you consider the size of the studio/resources etc, it is a remarkable game and it is a great sign for the industry. It definitely deserved to be a contender but GOTY shouldn't be based on what it cost or how surprised you were but the quality of your experience.

    It definitely deserved awards for a lot of other things, including having significant impact on the landscape of the industry, just not GOTY,

    @spurgeonryan It's being SOLD as two games but it's created and even marketed as two halves of the same whole. And I think that's how a lot of people look at it.

    At the same time, do you think a single walkthrough would do or will they each require their own walkthrough? While the land and a lot of the opponents will likely be the same, the tools you have at your disposal will be different.

    *shrug* I think one entity for each would be more accurate since the information is so similar. These two games will be closer to each other than any PS3/360 game is to its Wii counterpart.
