The Kingdom Hearts series will be heading to smartphones, according to Tetsuya Nomura, director of the Kingdom Hearts Series. The news was apparently revealed in the latest issue of Famitsu as part of an interview focused on Dissidia Final Fantasy.
Nomura promised to reveal more soon, and also promised that good progress was being made on Kingdom Hearts 3:
"There are interesting things being planned. There'll be various things, I think, like information on KH3. KH3 development is coming along well, but I also have other new announcements connected to that. I think I'll be able to announce one of them before long: an expansion of the series onto smartphones."
