We all knew it was coming, though for it to already be receiving an announcement is a little bit surprising. Ubisoft have today confirmed that a new Assassin's Creed is set to release in fiscal year 2014 (which runs from April 1, 2013, through to March 31, 2014).
Those worried about this game taking to form of a Revelations-esque semi-sequel will perhaps be reassured to learn that the next Assassin's Creed title will feature both a new hero and a new setting/time period.
