Borderlands: The Handsome Collection sold 157,665 units first week worldwide (week ending March 28), according to the VGChartz Global Weekly Chart.

The PlayStation 4 version sold 99,966 units worldwide. Breaking down sales by region the game sold 36,737 units in the US and 40,418 units in Europe. It sold 9,608 units in the UK, 8,225 units in Germany, and 5,719 units in France.

The Xbox One version sold 57,699 units worldwide. Breaking down sales by region the game sold 29,729 units in the US and 22,352 units in Europe. It sold 9,152 units in the UK, 3,064 units in Germany, and 3,294 units in France.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection was published by 2K Games and developed by Gearbox Software, Armature Studio, and Iron Galaxy Studios. The game launched in North America on March 24 and Europe on March 27.
