Non-combat, exploration-based MMO Wander will be officially releasing on the PlayStation 4 on June 4th. The announcement was made via the PlayStation Blog by Crystal Finn, the writer and character designer for Wander.
"Greetings, amigos! This is Crystal here coming at you from not-so-sunny Melbourne, Australia to bring you the latest Wander update. The first bit of exciting news is (drumroll…) our release date! Those of you who are overcome with desire to explore the lush forests, beaches, and ocean of Wander will be thrilled to know that it launches on PS4 June 4th."
The announcement also included a brand new trailer featuring the four forms players can take in the game:
New features were also announced, including:
A Polishing of the griffin flying experience.
A “non-menu” system.
A glyph communication system using the Dualshock 4 to draw symbols.
The ability to skydive.
Finally, a new Wander PS4 theme will also be released, allowing players to enjoy “the glorious ambiance and rainforest sounds in the game… on your PlayStation dashboard.”
Wander is currently available via Steam Early Access for Windows PC.
