Pokkén Tournament, which is being developed by Bandai Namco in collaboration with Nintendo, has thus far only been playable in Japanese arcades, but now it's finally been confirmed for a Nintendo platform.
The announcement was made by The Pokémon Company at the Pokémon World Championships in Boston and follows news reports that a trademark for the game had been registered in Europe. The trademark filing also hinted at Amiibo functionality for the title, although that has yet to be confirmed.
Pokkén Tournament is set to launch on the Wii U worldwide in the spring of 2016.
