Minecraft: Story Mode Episode One to be Released Next Month

The first episode for Minecraft: Story Mode will be released on October 13th, TellTale Games has announced.

Episode 1, The Order of the Stone, lands on the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4, PC, and Mac on that date. The Android and iOS versions will be released two days later, on October 15th. The release dates for the Wii U and PlayStation Vita versions will be announced at a later date.

"In Minecraft: Story Mode, playing as either a male or female hero named ‘Jesse,’ you’ll embark on a perilous adventure across the Overworld, through the Nether, to the End, and beyond. You and your friends revere the legendary Order of the Stone: Warrior, Redstone Engineer, Griefer, and Architect; slayers of the Ender Dragon," reads a blog post on the Telltale Games website. "While at EnderCon in hopes of meeting Gabriel the Warrior, Jesse’s friends discover that something is wrong... something dreadful. Terror is unleashed, and you must set out on a quest to find The Order of the Stone if you are to save your world from oblivion."
